Our admission policy is as follows:
We gladly accept all students regardless of race, religion or ethnic background in the following progression:
Catholic out-of-the parish
The non-Catholic student is welcome at The Academy of St. Therese of Lisieux. The non-Catholic student will receive his/her education in the framework of the Catholic religion and values. All students are expected to participate in all facets of religion classes, liturgical practices and prayer life of the school.
If a non-Catholic parent experiences a strong moral dilemma regarding their child's participation in Catholic liturgical practices, they are asked to contact the Principal.
Age: A birth certificate must be submitted for proof of age.
Children entering the Pre-K 3 must be three years old on or before October 1 st of the
current year. The children must be toilet trained.
Children entering the Pre-K 4 must be four years old on or before October 1 st of the current year. The children must be toilet trained.
Children entering our Kindergarten must be five years of age on or before October 1 st of the given academic year.
Children entering the first grade must be six years old by October 1 st of the current year.
Health Requirements: Students must have a complete physical before admission.
Catholic Applicants: A Baptismal Certificate and verification of reception of any additional sacrament are required.
Transfer Students: A complete copy of their scholastic record, standardized testing and health records are required.
Depending on those records, the Admisitration will decide on what grade level the child will be place in.
